Abstract
Zagotavljanje optimalne berljivosti in uporabnosti v temnem načinu zahteva natančno pozornost barvnemu kontrastu in vizualni hierarhiji, kar je bilo potrjeno z vrednotenjem z orodjem WebAIM.

Title:Redesigning user interface of University of Ljubljana’'s online classroom Moodle
Abstract:
The aim of the thesis was to redesign the Moodle classrooms used by the University of Ljubljana in order to improve user experience, which plays a key role in encouraging engagement and use of the educational platform. The theoretical part describes key concepts such as user experience, user interface and usability, with an emphasis on their importance in interface design. In addition, it explores the link between learning management systems and user experience, highlighting the significant impact of positive user experiences on learning outcomes and academic engagement. In the experimental phase, the results of prior usability testing of the existing Moodle interface are analyzed in detail. Based on these findings, a redesign was implemented to modernize the interface while maintaining its intuitive usability. This included simplifying the content architecture by eliminating redundant elements and strategically reorganizing elements to optimize the interface. The redesign was more than just a visual improvement, as it addressed different user needs and contexts of use. User interfaces were developed separately for students and professors, which provided a user experience coordinated with their different requirements and workflows. In addition, priority was given to redesigning the mobile version of the platform and its responsiveness in order to facilitate seamless access between devices. Due to increasing demand, a dark mode version of the platform was designed. However, ensuring optimal readability and usability in dark mode requires careful attention to color contrast and visual hierarchy, which was confirmed by evaluation with the WebAIM tool.
