Abstract
V okviru diplomskega dela sem preučeval vpliv temperature in sestave na gostoto, navidezni molski volumen in parcialni molski volumen polietilen glikola (PEG) z molekulsko maso 1500 g/mol in 3000 g/mol v vodnih raztopinah. Rezultati diplomskega dela ponujajo dragocene vpoglede v interakcijo PEG s topili in njegove volumetrične značilnosti, kar omogoča boljše razumevanje za prihodnje raziskave.

Title:Measurments of polymer and electrolyte density
Abstract:
Within the diploma work I investigated the effect of temperature and composition on the density, apparent molar volume and partial molar volume of polyethylene glycol (PEG) with molecular weights of 1500 g/mol and 3000 g/mol in aqueous solutions. The thesis focuses on measurements taken at 10 °C, 20 °C, and 30 °C across varying mass fractions. The goal was to understand how these parameters influence the volumetric properties of PEG in aqueous solutions. The findings reveal that temperature and concentration significantly impact the volumetric behavior of PEG, which is crucial for its application in various industrial and pharmaceutical processes. The study's results offer valuable insights into PEG's interaction with solvents and its volumetric characteristics, providing a deeper understanding for future research.
