In the modern business environment, increasing attention is paid to employees, their well-being, desires, and needs, ultimately leading to employee satisfaction. Recently, companies have become more aware of the importance of employee satisfaction, as it brings higher profits, better results, and increased business efficiency. For this reason, we aimed to investigate employee satisfaction. Given that we live where information technology advances daily and allows most work tasks and other job-related obligations to be performed from home, we wanted to include this aspect and examine the connection between employee satisfaction and remote work. This research aims to analyze employee satisfaction and remote work in a selected company in Slovenia. The research was conducted using a questionnaire sent electronically to the employees of the company. This was followed by statistical data processing and interpretation of the results. The main findings of the research showed that there are statistically significant differences in satisfaction and productivity between working from home and working at the employer's premises, highlighting the importance of adjusting working conditions to the individual needs of employees.
