Abstract
V sklopu diplomske naloge smo namesto litijevega nitrata v celuloznem kompozitu uporabili različne nitratne in litijeve soli. Litij-kovinskim anodam, zaščitenim z različnimi celuloznimi premazi smo določili kulonske učinkovitost. Kot sol, primerljivo z litijevim nitratom, smo določili kalijev nitrat.

Title:Effect of salts in a cellulosic protective layer on the electrochemical stability of metallic lithium
Abstract:
Lithium metal is an ideal material for the anode in batteries, due to its low electrochemical potential and high theoretical capacity. The high reactivity of metallic lithium and the growth of dendrites during the charging process have historically limited its use in commercial batteries. These issues could be overcome by adequate protection of metallic lithium, which can be achieved by applying special materials. One of the promising protective materials is a cellulose composite, composed of modified nano-fibrillated cellulose and lithium nitrate. In this thesis, various nitrate and lithium salts were used in the cellulose composite instead of lithium nitrate. The Coulombic efficiency of lithium-metal anodes protected with different cellulose coatings was determined. Potassium nitrate was identified as a salt comparable to lithium nitrate.
