The topic of the diploma seminar is the financial analysis of three electricity companies, namely ELES, Elektro Ljubljana, and Elektro Maribor, for the period from 2019 to 2022. The paper examines the performance of the selected companies before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the impact of the war in Ukraine in the year. The finan-cial statements are analyzed for each company individually using horizontal and vertical analysis. The second part follows with an analysis using DuPont indicators. All major items of the financial statements are graphically presented using the Power BI platform. Based on the financial analysis, I conclude that the companies were significantly affected by the pandemic and the war in the East, which is also clearly reflected in their financial statements.
