The purpose of the master’s thesis was to present his biography, his previous work and Slovenian folk motifs, which the composer Slavko Šuklar likes to use in his works. His main focus is on instrumental music. The composer is not burdened with styles, so his opus is difficult to define. As a composer, Slavko Šuklar managed to achieve acceptance and praise from music critics and listeners. Slavko Šuklar also worked as a teacher for many years. In 2020, he stopped teaching, but became even more involved in the development of music activities in Prekmurje. Under his mentorship, over 200 concerts with Slovenian and foreign performers were performed there.
