As part of my thesis, I conducted an analysis in the field of handling dangerous chemicals in the production plant of a company that specialises in the production of plant protection products. The work is based on a review of legislation on hazardous chemicals and their professional use, identification of the dangers posed by individual chemicals, the identification of hazards posed by individual chemicals, employee exposure, and the training programme for workers in the production of plant protection products.
In the analysis, I included key identification data, such as CAS and EC number, and communication elements for hazard recognition. Based on the review of safety data sheets of hazardous chemicals, the average annual quantities used in the facility, and the determination of hazard groups, I developed a training programme for workers handling hazardous chemicals.
