Abstract
Cilj diplomskega dela je seznaniti se z uporabo 3D grafike v spletnem oblikovanju ter oblikovanje spletnega vmesnika. Teoretični del obsega kratek pregled tehnik 3D modeliranja, navedeni in opisani so najpogosteje uporabljeni programi za 3D modeliranje ter podrobneje je opisan odprtokodni program Blender, v katerem so bili izdelani 3D modeli, ki so bili uporabljeni pri diplomski nalogi. Na kratko so predstavljene datotečne vrste za shranjevanje 3D modelov, elementi spletnega vmesnika ter optimizacija objektov za spletno zmogljivost. Na koncu sledi kratek povzetek o načinih vstavljanja 3D objektov v spletna mesta. V eksperimentalnem delu so predstavljeni materiali, ki smo jih uporabili za izdelavo diplomske naloge. Sledi opis analize, že obstoječih vizualizacij tort ter proces izdelave od 3D modelov do oblikovanja spletnega vmesnika. Proces je razdeljen na več delov. Najprej smo na internetu izbrali reference, ki so nam pomagale pri oblikovanju 3D modelov. Nato je predstavljen in upodobljen postopek izdelave 3D modelov v programu Blender. Sledi opis nanašanja materialov in tekstur ter izvoz modelov v izbranem formatu. V zadnjem delu je opisan proces izdelave spletnega vmesnika in njegovega prototipa. Najprej smo naredili žični model, nato smo dodali barve, določili pisave in dodali fotografije. S prototipom smo prikazali uporabo spletnega mesta. Končni rezultat diplomskega dela je oblikovan spletni vmesnik s 3D grafiko. Vmesnik uporabnikom omogoča, da si na interaktiven način ustvarijo lasten izgled torte. Sestavni deli torte, kot so osnovna oblika, premaz, preliv, različni dodatki ter napis, so 3D modeli, s katerimi uporabniki postopoma gradijo želen videz torte.

Title:Interactive interface for 3D cake model visualisation
Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to learn about the use of 3D graphics in web design and the design of the web interface. The theoretical part includes a brief overview of 3D modelling techniques, the most commonly used 3D modelling programs are listed and described, and the open source Blender program, in which the 3D models used in the thesis were created, is described in more detail. The file types used to store the 3D models, the elements of the web interface and the optimisation of the objects for web performance are briefly introduced. Finally, a brief summary on how to embed 3D objects in web sites follows. In the experimental part, the materials used for the thesis are presented. This is followed by a description of the analysis, the existing tort visualisations and the production process from the 3D models to the design of the web interface. The process is divided into several parts. First, we selected references on the internet that helped us to create the 3D models. Then the process of creating 3D models in Blender is described and illustrated. This is followed by a description of the application of materials and textures and the export of the models in the chosen format. The final part describes the process of creating the web interface and its prototype. First we made a wireframe model, then we added colours, defined fonts and added photographs. The prototype was used to demonstrate the use of the website. The final result of the thesis is a designed web interface with 3D graphics. The interface allows users to interactively create their own cake design. Cake components such as the basic shape, the icing, chocolate dripping, the various toppings and cake topper are 3D models that users use to gradually build the desired look of the cake.
