Abstract
Diplomska naloga opisuje zasnovo in izdelavo naprave za struženje mnogokotnikov na univerzalni stružnici. Struženje mnogokotnikov deluje po principu sinhronizirane rotacije obdelovanca in gnanega orodja, kar omogoča obdelavo mnogokotnikov pri neprekinjenem vrtenju obdelovanca. Napravo smo zasnovali tako, da jo je mogoče montirati na univerzalno stružnico Prvomajska TNP 145. Opisali smo celoten postopek konstruiranja. Preračunali smo obremenitve grednih vezi in ležajev ter zanje izračunali dobo trajanja. S pomočjo programa SolidWorks smo naredili 3D-modele in pripravili tehnično dokumentacijo za napravo, ki smo jo nato tudi izdelali in preizkusili. Opisali smo potek preizkusa in ga komentirali. Opisali smo tudi možnosti za nadaljnji razvoj naprave

Title:Design and manufacture of a device for polygon turning on a universal lathe
Abstract:
The diploma describes the design and manufacture of a device for polygon turning on a universal lathe. Polygon turning works on the principle of synchronized rotation of the workpiece and the driven tool, which enables the processing of polygons during continuous rotation of the workpiece. We designed the device in such a way that it can be mounted on the Prvomajska TNP 145 universal lathe. We have described the entire construction process. We calculated the loads on the shaft connections and bearings, and calculated their rating life. With the help of the SolidWorks program, we made 3D models and technical documentation of the device, which we then manufactured and tested. We have described the course of the test and commented on it. We also described the possibilities for further development of the device.
