In the diploma thesis, we processed road construction and the construction processes that belong to it. In terms of construction technology, we focused on heavy and light construction machinery and the dangers that can occur when working with it. We have summarized the responsibilities of the construction participants, what their duties are and who is in charge of road maintenance. We analyzed the three security plans and wrote down our commentary. We reviewed case law and looked at four cases from case law related to road construction accidents. We also analyzed the official statistics of accidents at work in Slovenia and in Europe.
