Abstract
Tradicionalne sinteze NH-sulfoksiminov potekajo v dveh ali več korakih in vključujejo nestabilne ter nevarne reagente ali katalizatorje, ki zahtevajo ostre pogoje in dolge reakcijske čase. Z uporabo metode zelene sinteze je mogoče NH-sulfoksimine sintetizirati iz sulfidov z direktnim prenosom kisikovega in dušikovega atoma, ki ga dosežemo z neškodljivim oksidantom (diacetoksijodo)benzenom in amonijevim karbamatom ali amonijevim karbonatom kot virom dušika. Sinteza poteka enolončno pri sobnih pogojih z visokimi izkoristki, zaradi česar jo uvrščamo med relativno zelene procese. V uvodu diplomskega dela bom najprej povzela osnovne načele zelene kemije, nato pa predstavila NH-sulfoksimine in njihov pomen na različnih znanstvenih področjih.

Title:Chemoselective synthesis of sulfoximines
Abstract:
Traditional syntheses of NH-sulfoximines typically involve two or more steps and utilize unstable and hazardous reagents or catalysts, requiring harsh conditions and long reaction times. Using green synthetic methods, NH-sulfoximines can be synthesized from sulfides by direct oxygen and nitrogen atoms transfer, which is achieved using the harmless oxidant (diacetoxyiodo)benzene and ammonium carbamate or ammonium carbonate as nitrogen source. This one pot synthesis takes place under ambient conditions with high yields, categorizing it as a relatively green process. In the introduction of my thesis, I will first summarize the basic principles of green chemistry and then introduce NH-sulfoximines and their significance across various scientific fields.
