Abstract
Rezultati: Pristopi, s katerimi obravnavamo in zdravimo vedenjske odvisnosti, vključujejo kognitivno-vedenjsko terapijo, akupunkturo, izobraževanje o razvoju računalniških iger, krepitev socialnih spretnosti, terapije z živalmi, virtualno resničnost, spremljanje in nadzor igranja videoiger, spodbujanje čuječnosti, repetitivno transkranialno magnetno stimulacijo, telesno dejavnost ter družinsko terapijo. Njihova vloga vključuje ozaveščanje mladostnikov in družin, sodelovanje v šolskih programih, zgodnje prepoznavanje težav, izvajanje repetitivne transkranialne magnetne stimulacije, izboljšanje socialnih veščin in socializacije, trening nadzora impulzov ter izvajanje kognitivno-vedenjske terapije. V prihodnosti je pomembno raziskati vedenjske odvisnosti v Sloveniji in terapevtske pristope prilagoditi potrebam slovenskih mladostnikov.

Title:Approaches and treatment options for behavioral addictions in adolescents : diploma work
Abstract:
Introduction: Behavioural addictions such as internet, video game and gambling addiction represent a growing challenge for the mental health of young people. The consequences of behavioural addictions manifest themselves in emotional instability, social problems and school and academic failure. More and more adolescents are facing behavioral addictions, which are often causally related to other mental disorders such as depression and hyperkinetic disorders. Purpose: The purpose of the literature review is to determine what therapeutic interventions are used in the treatment of behavioural addictions and to examine the role of nursing in the treatment of behavioural addictions in adolescents. Methods: A review of the foreign scientific literature was conducted. The literature was searched via PubMed and Springer. 22 articles published between 2014 and 2024 were included in the analysis. Results: Approaches to address and treat behavioural addictions include cognitive behavioural therapy, acupuncture, education on computer game development, social skills enhancement, therapy with animals, virtual reality, video game monitoring and control, mindfulness promotion, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, physical activity, and family therapy. Discussion and Conclusion: Multicomponent interventions that include combined approaches are the most successful way to achieve results in the treatment of behavioural addictions. Nurses play a key role in the interdisciplinary team in the treatment of behavioural addictions. Their roles include raising awareness among adolescents and families, participating in school programmes, identifying problems early, performing repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, improving social skills and socialisation, training impulse control and performing cognitive behavioural therapy. In the future, it is important to research behavioural addictions in Slovenia and adapt therapeutic approaches to the needs of Slovenian adolescents.
