Heat pumps of various types play a key role in the fight for climate neutrality due to their ability to use energy efficiently and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The purpose of the task was to determine the multi-parametric function of the performance characteristics of gas heat pumps in the Python programming language, so that they could be used in the open source tool PandaProsumer. This tool enables simulations of the operation of district heating systems of higher generations, in which consumers can use or produce heat. The multi-parametric function was obtained using regression analysis on data from different manufacturers of gas heat pumps. For gas-driven and gas-absorbing heat pumps, we have thus determined their exergy value under different operating conditions. With the obtained regression functions, which describe the exergy value of gas heat pumps, we prepared the necessary relations for integration into the PandaProsumer simulation tool. We then compared the performance of the considered heat pumps on a specific user example.
