In this thesis, we focus on the impact of polymer recycling on the mechanical properties of products recovered from household waste. In this thesis, we first look at the different types of recycling. This is followed by a description of the injection moulding process, from which a description of the processing of the material follows. In the study we also use several measurement methods, tensile strength, differential dynamic scanning calorimetry (DSC), flow properties, viscosity, highelasticity and linear theory of high elasticity (LTVE) measurements. These are used to describe the mechanical properties of the material. We found that recycling has an effect on tensile strength, highelasticity and flow properties, while DSC and LTVE measurements are not affected.
