Abstract
Astronomska opazovanja nočnega neba in redkih nebesnih objektov so zanimiva tako za učence kot širšo javnost, zato je potrebna motivacija učiteljev, da z opazovanji približajo lepote nočnega neba učencem pri izbirnem predmetu astronomija in širši javnosti pri organizaciji javnih opazovanj. Namen magistrske naloge je spodbuditi učitelje k uporabi teleskopa za opazovanje nočnega neba. V nalogi podamo nasvete, kako se pripraviti na astronomska opazovanja, opišemo postopek postavitve 20-cm Newtonovega teleskopa na ekvatorialni postavitvi, zajemanje digitalnih posnetkov nebesnih objektov in kalibracijskih posnetkov z digitalnim fotoaparatom ali astronomsko kamero. Nato predstavimo postopek obdelave zajetih slik s prosto dostopnimi astronomskimi programi in prikažemo obdelane slike Jupitra, Saturna, Lune, zvezdne kopice, galaksije, planetarne meglice in kometa.

Title:Guidelines for observing the night sky with a school telescope
Abstract:
Astronomical observations of the night sky and rare celestial objects attract the students and the general public. Therefore, it is necessary to motivate teachers to introduce the beauty of the night sky to students of the elective subject of Astronomy and the public in general by organizing public observations. This master's thesis encourages teachers to use telescopes to observe the night sky. The thesis advises on preparing for astronomical observations, and describes the procedure for setting up a 20 cm Newtonian telescope on an equatorial setup, taking digital images of celestial objects and calibrating images using a digital camera or an astronomical camera. It then demonstrates how the captured images can be processed using freely available astronomical software and presents the processed images of Jupiter, Saturn, the Moon, star clusters, a galaxy, a planetary nebula and a comet.
