Trajnostno mesto : integracija območja De Kien med študentskim kampusom in centrom mesta Deventer

Diplomska naloga se ukvarja s tematiko integracije urbanih površin mešanih namenskih rab ob vodnem kanalu v mestu Deventer. To območje poskuša ponovno oživiti z novimi peš in kolesarskimi povezavami ter bogatejšim zelenjem, in sicer z idejno rešitvijo novega mostu in poudarkom na biodiverziteti. Slednje bi območje obogatilo tako tudi z vidika skrbi za naravo in boljše počutje prebivalcev. Prav tako je cilj predlaganega posega narediti mesto bolj vzdržno in trajnostno.

• Title: A sustainable city : integrating the De Kien area between the student campus and Deventer's city centre

Abstract

The thesis deals with the integration of mixed-use urban areas along the water canal in Deventer. It seeks to revitalise this area with new pedestrian and cycling links and more greenery, through the conceptual design of a new bridge and a focus on biodiversity. The latter would also enrich the area in terms of caring for nature and the well-being of the inhabitants. The proposed development also aims to make the city more sustainable and resilient.
