The thesis presents the negative impacts caused by port activities. The first part of the diploma thesis presents and describes the standards and conventions that contribute to the reduction of negative impacts on environment.
The terminals, with which Port of Koper dispose are presented and their main negative impacts to environment.
In the last part of thesis an analisy is made base on survey which was done to receive opinion of the population regarding environmnet impacts, with which we are facing due the port activities.
