Abstract
V tem delu so raziskane možnosti razvoja in izdelave cenovno ugodnega sledilnika pogleda v konfiguraciji očal, z minimalno zahtevnostjo izdelave in potrebnim znanjem elektronike.

Title:Construction of the eye-tracking glasses prototype
Abstract:
Eye tracking technologies offer advanced methods for monitoring human gaze, yet their widespread adoption remains limited. One of the main reasons for this is the high cost of eye trackers on the market, starting at around €1000 and ranging over €10,000. It turns out that the high cost is not due to hardware expenses but rather development costs. This work explores the possibilities of developing and constructing an affordable eye tracker in an eye glasses configuration, with minimal manufacturing complexity and basic knowledge of electronics. For image processing and data analysis, a standalone software solution and open-source software Haytham Gaze Tracker were utilized. The cost of the constructed eye tracker is approximately €35, achieving an accuracy of 1.11° in evaluation, sufficient for home multimedia applications.
