Otroški vrt : idejna zasnova vrtca in mestnega parka v Šentjurju

Poleg lokalne problematike – dotrajanosti zgradbe vrtca v centru mesta Šentjur, magistrska naloga obravnava tudi širše vprašanje pomena prostora, namenjenega najmlajšim, tako grajenega, kot tudi naravnega. Preko študij značilnosti uporabnikov, širše in ožje lokacije ter referenčnih primerov, je cilj zaključnega dela zasnovati projekt, ki opozarja na potenciale kvalitetnih prostorov v predšolskem vzgojno-izobraževalnem procesu. Teoretični del definira in pojasni odnose med obravnavanim programom, njegovimi uporabniki in prostorom, v katerega je vrtec umeščen – mestnim parkom z okolico, ki ga obdaja. Naloga obravnava naravo kot ničelno točko, iz katere izhajamo, ter njen vpliv na otrokov otrokov telesni, miselni, čustveni in osebnostni razvoj. Projektni del izhaja iz izsledkov raziskav in pri arhitekturni zasnovi upošteva tako prostorske potrebe otrok in programa vrtca kot tudi obstoječe tkivo mesta Šentjur, na katerega nova stavba odgovarja, hkrati pa mimoidoče nagovarja in izobražuje o pomenu kvalitetnega in zdravega okolja za optimalen razvoj človeka in ohranjanje biosfere.

• Title: Kindergarden - A Proposal for a Kindergarten and a Municipal Park in Šentjur

Abstract

In addition to the local issue of the deterioration of the kindergarten building in the centre of Šentjur, the master's thesis also addresses the broader issue of the importance of space for preschool children, both man-made and natural. Based on studies of the characteristics of users, the broader and narrower location and reference cases, the thesis aims to design a project that emphasises the potential of quality spaces in the preschool educational process. The theoretical part defines and clarifies the relationships between the programme under consideration, its users and the space in which the kindergarten is located, i.e. the city park and the surrounding area. The thesis discusses nature as the zero point from which we start and its impact on children's physical, mental, emotional and personal development. The project part of the thesis is founded on research findings and the architectural design takes into account the spatial needs of the children and the kindergarten programme, as well as the existing environment of the town of Šentjur, to which the kindergarten building responds, while addressing and educating passers-by about the importance of a quality and healthy environment for optimal human development and the preservation of the biosphere.
