Prenova vojaškega kompleksa Ilirska Bistrica v stanovanjsko-izobraževalni center : idejna zasnova

Nekdanja vojašnica Ilirska Bistrica s svojo lokacijo v neposredni bližini starega mestnega jedra, predstavlja potencialni razvoj obstoječih in novih programov, ki bi pripomogli k boljšemu življenju prebivalcev mesta. Cilj prenove je ustvariti območje, ki nudi možnosti za udobno življenje vseh generacij. S teoretično – analitičnim delom naloge se analizira širša in ožja okolica vojašnice ter valorizira obstoječe stanje. Postopno dvigovanje terena se prepozna kot del problema pri reševanju urbanistično – krajinske zasnove območja. Nova zasnova se s svojimi gabariti terenu prilagodi. Vzpostavi se povezava med novim in obstoječim programom. Naloga predlaga ohranitev in razširitev obstoječih programov ter dodajanje novih glede na potrebe prebivalcev. V teoretsko – analitičnem delu se izpostavi stanovanjska problematika ter naraščanje in priseljevanje prebivalstva, kot tudi razpršena gradnja celotne občine, kar predstavlja problem oddaljenosti med vasmi in mestom in s tem izoliranost določenih starostnih skupin. V projektnem delu se naloga podrobneje posveti zasnovi nove medgeneracijske stanovanjske soseske. Urbanistična zasnova se smiselno navezuje na okolico vojašnice, kot tudi obstoječe stavbe na sami lokaciji. Stanovanjska soseska je zasnovana kot skupina objektov na zahodnem delu vojašnice, ki se postopoma dviguje proti vzhodnem, hribovitem terenu, hkrati pa odgovarja na specifične pogoje tamkajšnjega podnebja

• Title: Conceptual design: Renovation of the Ilirska Bistrica military complex into a residential and educational center

Abstract

The former Ilirska Bistrica barracks, with its location in the immediate vicinity of the old city center, represents the potential development of existing and new programs that would contribute to a better life for the city's residents. The goal of the renovation is to create an area that offers opportunities for a comfortable life for all generations. The theoretical and analytical part of the task analyzes the wider and narrower surroundings of the barracks and valorizes the existing situation. The gradual raising of the terrain is recognized as part of the problem in solving the urban-landscape design of the area. The new design adapts to the terrain with its dimensions. A connection is established between the new and existing program. The task proposes the preservation and expansion of existing programs and the addition of new ones according to the needs of the residents. In the theoretical-analytical part, the housing problem and the growth and immigration of the population, as well as the scattered construction of the entire municipality, are highlighted, which represents the problem of the distance between the villages and the city and thus the isolation of certain age groups. In the project part, the task focuses in more detail on the design of a new intergenerational residential neighborhood. The urban design is meaningfully related to the surroundings of the barracks, as well as the existing buildings on the location itself. The residential neighborhood is designed as a group of buildings on the western part of the barracks, which gradually rises towards the eastern, hilly terrain, while at the same time responding to the specific conditions of the local climate.
