Abstract
Arhitektura je odraz psihičnega stanja družbe v kateri je zasnovana. Večina današnje gradnje je posledica kapitalističnih interesov in čutne ignorance. Primerjanje zvoka in tišine, svetlobe in sence, njihovo komplementarnost, kontrast in soobstoj.

Title:
Sound as a Phenomenological Phenomenon in Architecture: Conceptual Design of a Sound Chapel
Abstract:
Architecture is a reflection of the psychological state of the society in which it is designed. Most of today's construction is the result of capitalist interests and sensual ignorance. The assignment explores how to incorporate multisensory in the design of architecture. The final work deals with the phenomenological study of sound, its role and dimensions in space. In the theoretical part, the current state of society is being debated and how we still implement the same ideologies that were relevant a hundred years ago and what impact this has on the present. Research continues on the role of the senses in space, the decline of the majority of them and the supremacy of vision. Discussing the effect of the presence of sound in space on people and sound as a material and what it must be like to achieve that natural or primary effect. Comparison of sound and silence, light and shadow, their complementarity, contrast and coexistence. Sound and silence can equally define a space by their presence. The practical part of the task is materialized in the form of a modern sound chapel, which does not have conventional religious connotations. The object of worship is man himself, with all his sensuality and awareness. The chapel acts as a point of neutralization in the center of the noise or hectic life in Ljubljana. It is intended for retreat and contemplation, which is encouraged by sound as the main material. It functions as a multi-sensory object, the purpose of which is to anchor a person in the present by encouraging a multi-sensory experience.
