The master's thesis deals with the optimization of seals and sealing elements in oven appliances. The existing seals perform their task of sealing moisture and energy losses at temperatures up to 300 °C in the oven space. With certain programs of the device, the sealing task is only to seal energy losses at temperatures higher than 300 °C. Since oven appliances are also increasingly innovative and contain several technologies in one appliance, we were forced to develop a new seal for the 3in1 oven, which contains a combined oven with the possibility of pyrolytic self-cleaning function and baking with steam. That's why we set out to create a hybrid seal that will be able to seal all the required functions of the oven. According to the conceptual design, we made a prototype of the seal, with the help of 3D modelling programs, followed by the creation of the documents and then the production of the seal and sealing tests at the desired programs of the oven. If, after performing all the sealing tests, the seal proves positive, it will be the first one on the market that will be able to seal all these functions at the same time.
