Abstract
Na 6 izbranih lokacijah na pogorju Moncayo v Španiji smo za različne nadmorske višine od 1150 do 1600 m sestavili 6 lokalnih kronologij navadne bukve (Fagus sylvatica L.). Opravili smo analizo manjkajočih branik, datiranje, merjenje in sinhroniziranje širin branik; sestavili surove in ARSTAN kronologije in opravili dendroklimatološke analize. Izpad branik je bil pogost pri starejših drevesih; določena leta je bil pojav manjkajočih branik opazen na vseh rastiščih. S pomočjo programa DENDROCLIM2002 smo ob uporabi povprečnih mesečnih temperatur in mesečnih količin padavin in ARSTAN residual kronologij ugotovili, da na variiranje širin branik bukve na 4 rastiščih v pasu 1170 - 1420 m n.m.v. pozitivno vplivajo predvsem junijske padavine; na variiranje širin branik bukve na 2 rastiščih z nadmorskih višin 1500 - 1600 m pa negativno vplivajo aprilske temperature. Na nadmorski višini 1600 m smo zabeležili tudi pozitiven vpliv temperatur od maja do avgusta. Na različnih rastiščih bukve v Sloveniji imajo pozitiven vpliv junijske padavine na nadmorskih višinah 300 do 1000 m; nimajo pa negativnega vpliva aprilskih temperatur. Na visokogorskih rastiščih bukve (Alpe, nad 1000 m n.m.v.) pa so, podobno kot v Španiji na nadmorski višini nad 1600 m, zabeležili pozitiven vpliv poletnih temperatur.

Title:Dendrochronological research of beech on the area of Moncayo, Spain : graduation thesis - university studies
Abstract:
We constructed 6 tree-ring chronologies of European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.), from 6 selected locations on the Moncayo mountain in Spain. The sites were located at different altitudes from 1150 to 1600 m. We performed analysis of missing rings, dating, ring-width measurements and cross-dating of tree-rings. We created raw and 3 types of ARSTAN chronologies, and performed dendroclimatological analyses. Missing tree rings were common in older trees, and in some years, we found missing rings at all locations. We used ARSTAN residual chronologies, monthly sums of precipitations and average monthly temperature data for dendroclimatological analysis with DENDROCLIM 2002. We found that June precipitations positively affected tree-ring variation of beech at 4 locations with elevations 1170 to 1420 m. On the other hand, April temperatures negatively affected tree-ring variation of beech at 2 locations at the altitudes 1500 to 1600 m. In the site located at 1600 m a.s.l. we also observed positive effect of temperatures from May until August. Comparisons with the results of dendroclimatological analyses of beech from different sites all over Slovenia have shown that positive effect of June precipitations was recorded at altitudes from 300 to 1000 m. Negative effect of April temperatures has not been observed in Slovenia. Similarly like in Spain at 1600 m, in Slovenia positive effect of summer temperatures was recorded on the Alpine beech sites located at the altitudes 1000 m or higher.
