The thesis explores and analyzes the use of cloud information and communication technologies and wireless networks, focusing on the approaches of leading manufacturers such as Cisco Meraki and HP Aruba Central. The main objective is to understand various aspects of cloud computing services, including software development, infrastructure as a service, and platform as a service, and to analyze different methods of wireless network deployment, such as centralized deployment, converged deployment, and cloud deployment.
The thesis describes practical examples that highlight the usefulness of cloud services within a business network. Among the examples are the implementation of a wireless network setup in the municipality of Celje using cloud services and the migration of existing wireless infrastructure to the cloud in the company Intralighting.
Additionally, the thesis provides insights into specific use cases of the Aruba Central and Cisco Meraki platforms in a business environment. It includes various aspects such as adding new devices and replacing existing ones, configuring them, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
