Leaders are key actors in the workplace, as they use their social, leadership, organizational and emotional skills and knowledge to shape the organizational and work goals with employees to achieve organizational goals. The role of leaders is to create a positive and healthy work environment, reflecting their various personality traits in their behavior. In an organization, there is an interaction between the leader and the employees, that can lead to situations that have positive or negative impact on employees. Negative interactions can also manifest as workplace mobing.
The aim of this thesis was to analyze the association between the behavior of leaders and mobing of employees in administrative units of the Osrednjeslovenska statistical region. The research was carried out using a questionnaire and the survey data was statistically processed using Excel and SPSS. The results of the survey show that there is a association between behaviour of leaders and mobing of employees in administrative units of the Osrednjeslovenska statistical region. Most behaviors are somewhat related to workplace mobing, while passive behavior and the leader's attitude toward him/herself themselves are slightly related to mobing. For the variable that examines assertive behavior of leaders, the results of the survey indicate a strong association with mobing of employees in administrative units of the Osrednjeslovenska statistical region.
