Abstract
V drugem delu so navedeni primeri različnih elektroenergetskih postrojenj in njihove ocene EROI.

Title:EROI and the Slovenian society
Abstract:
EROI represents the ratio of the obtained useful energy per unit of invested energy. It is one of the parameters for assessing the feasibility of various electricity generation plants and their energy efficiency over their lifespan, thus linking energy to the environment and its impacts. The thesis is roughly divided into three parts. The first part describes the theoretical basics of EROI, energy furnace, and everything necessary for a rough estimation of EROI. The second part provides examples of various electricity generation plants and their EROI assessments. In the final part, from the perspective of energy, the focus is on Slovenia. The sources of useful final energy, energy consumption by sectors, and the interdependence of energy use, EROI, and quality of life are presented. We have determined the main EROI assessments of energy sources for Slovenia and formulated an assessment of social, or total, EROISOC.

Keywords:useful energy, energy sources, EROI, quality of life, energy engineering, green transition (Renewable Energy Sources)
