Lately, one can see an increase of driving in natural environment, in forests. This kind of driving causes quite a disturbance of natural environmentin many ways, noise being one of them. This thesis focuses on intensity of noise caused by a motorcycle driving along a forest road. Intensity of the noise is decreasing with motorcycle moving away from the place of taking the measures; they have proven two things - one is that intensity decreases more slowly when measuring below the road-line than when taking measures above the road-line, and the second fact is that intensity of noise decreases more rapidly when driving fast than when driving slowly. Different structure of a forest has no evident influence on the decrease of noise intensity in connection to the motorcycle driving away. The most common way of driving the motorcycle through the wood is a free ride, which has an average noise emission of 106 dB. Of course, there is also noise, that is always present in the natural environment and is actually produced by the environment itself, but it reaches merely 41.5 dB. Thus the noise caused by driving a motorcycle represents a huge disturbance in the natural environment.
