Braniški grad Rihemberk

V diplomskem delu skušam kar se da pregledno predstaviti grad Rihemberk, lociran nad vasjo Branik ob cesti v Štanjel, na stičišču Vipavske doline in kraške regije. V prvem delu naloge je predstavljen grad, kot je ohranjen v času tega pisanja, s pregledom posameznih stavbnih mas in njihovim opisom. Temu sledi pregled posameznih lastništev in najemništev gradu skozi stoletja. V zadnjem delu diplomskega dela pa so opisane posamezne faze nastanka, predelav, propada in obnove gradu od romanike do sedanjosti.

Izvleček

In my thesis, I attempt to comprehensively and thoroughly present the Rihemberk castle, located above the Branik village by the road to Štanjel at the border between the Vipava Valley and the Karst region. In the first chapter, the castle is presented as a whole, with an overview of its components as they are at the time of writing. A historical overview of the castle's noble owners and other tenants through the centuries follows. Lastly, the phases of building, rebuilding, ruin and restoration of the castle are detailed from the Romanesque phase to present day.
