The object of contemplation in this work is the internal nature of the protagonist in Blatnik's short prose collections, bringing attention to the problem of interaction with the person closest to him. The relationship between man and woman is catastrophic, the only form of communication being alternating monologue. In this way, the destiny of homelessness and loneliness becomes ever more intense. From the position of the object of desire, the difference and equality of the male and the female subject and their final state are presented in the collection Zakon želje.
