Abstract
V sodobnem poslovnem okolju se je povečal pomen izvajanja podjetniške filantropije, saj lahko s temi dejavnostmi podjetja izboljšajo poslovanje in pozitivno vplivajo na družbo, okolje in podjetje. Namen diplomskega dela je ugotoviti, kakšno je praktično udejanjanje podjetniške filantropije. Cilj diplomskega dela je raziskati in predstaviti področje družbene odgovornosti in podjetniške filantropije ter to področje prikazati tudi na praktičnem primeru glede na vzorec sedmih slovenskih podjetij, s katerimi je bil preko elektronske pošte opravljen intervju. Pri tem so oblikovana štiri raziskovalna vprašanja, cilj katerih je ugotoviti, kako v podjetjih razumejo podjetniško filantropijo, katera področja se zdijo v podjetjih najpomembnejša za posvečanje pozornosti v dobrodelni obliki, koliko so dobrodelne dejavnosti povezane s strategijo in osrednjimi dejavnostmi podjetja, ter katere omejitve zaznavajo v podjetju pri izvajanju podjetniške filantropije. S pomočjo odgovorov podjetij je prikazano, da v obravnavanih podjetjih pojem podjetniške filantropije razumejo v povezavi s stikom z okoljem podjetja in različnimi deležniki in sodelavci, konkurenčno prednostjo, naravnim okoljem, trajnostjo in omogočanjem digitalizacije. Pozornost v dobrodelni obliki najpogosteje posvečajo ljudem in okolju, zaposlenim, holističnemu pristopu, ki vključuje športne, kulturne, izobraževalne in humanitarne aktivnosti, družbeni neenakosti, varovanju okolja ter digitalni odgovornosti. Dobrodelne aktivnosti so močno povezane s strategijo in osrednjimi dejavnostmi podjetja, pojavljajo pa se različne omejitve, kjer se še posebej izpostavijo finančne in logistične omejitve. Raziskava prikazuje praktične primere udejanjanja podjetniške filantropije in je zato koristna za stroko. Omejitve raziskave so bile slabša pripravljenost podjetij za sodelovanje v intervjuju in posledična majhnost vzorca.

Title:Review of business philantrophy practice
Abstract:
Performing business philanthropy in modern business environments has become a way for the businesses to improve their business performance and to have a positive influence on society, environment and different stakeholders. The aim of the diploma thesis was to review the practical implementation of business philanthropy practice. The objectives of the thesis were to research and describe the field of social responsibility and corporate social responsibility with a particular attention to seven Slovenian business that have received the questions through electronic mail. Four research questions were formed and their aim was to discover how the business philanthropy is understood in the company, which fields of corporate social responsibility are important in the company for the philanthropy, how are philanthropic activities connected with the strategy and business activities and which are the detected challenges in philanthropic activities. With the help of the answers of the business we displayed that the companies understand business philanthropy in the connection with the business environment, society and employees, with competitive advantage, sustainability and digitalization. They most often pay attention to society and environment, holistic approach which includes sports, cultural, educational and humanitarian activities, social inequality, environment preservation and digital responsibility. The charitable activities are connected with the business strategy and business activities. However, the companies detect certain challenges of the philanthropic such as financial and logistical challenges. The research displays practical examples of corporate philanthropy which is why it is useful for the field. The challenges of the research lay in the fact that companies were not willing to be interviewed which leads to a small sample of companies.
