The thesis presents a comprehensive process of planning, designing, and implementing a website for the company Agencija Notic. The theoretical part focuses on the key concepts of the website, including the history of the Internet, HTML and CSS, and presents trends in website development. Elements of the website, graphic design, color schemes, tools for creation (WordPress, Adobe Photoshop), user experience, website planning, information architecture, wireframes, responsive design, and website optimization are discussed.
In the experimental part, graphic design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop), website layout (WordPress with additional plugins), web analytics (Google Analytics), and website optimization (Google Pagespeed Insights) were used. Methods included analyzing competitor websites, defining client goals, identifying the target audience, conceptualizing the website, designing the information architecture, developing wireframes, determining the graphic design, selecting hosting and domain, selecting themes and plugins, responsive design, website optimization and website analytics.
An analysis of competitor websites using the Nielsen's heuristics showed that the critical aspects of good user experience were adequately met. The developed website for Agency Notic is then presented in successive sections such as the home page, online presence, company services, visual representation of the online purchase path, digital channels, process of working with the company, contact form and footer. The end result of the thesis is a functioning website with an optimized user experience. The added web analytics enables monitoring of efficiency and supports future improvements.
