Abstract
V diplomskem delu sem predstavil pomen prezračevanja jame, ki je ključen za delovanje Premogovnika Velenje. V nalogi sem opisal sestavo jamskega zraka, jamsko klimo ter predstavil bistvene faktorje, ki vplivajo na jamsko klimo. V nadaljevanju sem podrobneje predstavil načine podzemnega prezračevanja oziroma dovajanje svežega atmosferskega zraka v vse jamske prostore ter tudi odvajanje izrabljenega jamskega zraka. Poseben poudarek sem namenil potencialnim nevarnostim, ki se lahko zgodijo v jami. Vsako od nevarnosti sem na kratko predstavil in podal vzroke za njihov pojav oziroma nastanek. Največjo pozornost pa sem namenil opisu obrambe in ukrepov za preprečevanje potencialne nevarnosti požara. Vse našteto sem predstavil na realnem primeru odkopa CD3/G v Premogovniku Velenje, vključno z opisom poti umika, ki ga določa načrt obrambe in reševanja. Na kratko sem povzel dogodka jamskih požarov, ki sta se v zadnjih nekaj letih zgodila na Premogovniku Velenje. Kljub najsodobnejši tehnologiji spremljanja parametrov zračenja in preprečevanja nastankov jamskih požarov, s katero razpolagajo v Premogovniku Velenje, pa občasno vendarle pride do nastanka požara. V takšnih trenutkih pa je pomembno postopanje po natančno predpisanih in določenih varnostnih ukrepih ter razpolaganje z usposobljeno jamsko reševalno četo.

Title:The ventilation system of the Velenje coal mine
Abstract:
In this thesis, I presented the importance of cave ventilation, which is crucial for the operation of the Velenje Coal Mine. In my thesis, I described the composition of cave air, cave climate and presented the essential factors affecting the cave climate. Below, I presented in more detail the methods of underground ventilation or the supply of fresh atmospheric air to all cave spaces, as well as the discharge of spent cave air. I placed special emphasis on potential hazards that can happen in the cave. I briefly presented each of the hazards and gave the causes of their occurrence or occurrence. However, I paid the greatest attention to the description of the defence and measures to prevent the potential danger of fire. I presented all of the above on a real-world example of CD3/G mining at the Velenje Coal Mine, including a description of the withdrawal route determined by the defence and rescue plan. I briefly summarized the events of cave fires that have occurred at the Velenje Coal Mine in the last few years. Despite the state-of-the-art technology for monitoring the parameters of ventilation and prevention of the occurrence of cave fires, which is available at the Velenje Coal Mine, a fire occasionally occurs. At such moments, it is important to follow precisely prescribed and defined safety measures and to dispose of a qualified cave rescue company.
