Abstract
Nanje so vplivale lastnosti uporabljenih materialov in površinska napetost v talini.

Title:Optimizing the overlap of layers from different materials to achieve flat surfaces
Abstract:
Multi-material wire and arc additive surfacing is a principle of metal deposition, where to obtain quality surfaces, we need the right approach using several different models. With these models, implemented for low-alloy and stainless steel, we have created adequate process parameters for maintaining the same height of the weld beads and their parabolic shape. The additive manufacturing method is an alternative to the traditional machining process with subtraction, with which we produce more complex shapes and reduce the time and cost of production. We focused on improving quality of the surface, which is especially important for dissimilar materials, where we weld different widths of welds. While experimenting the optimal welding torch movements in overlapping weld surfacing, differences between theoretical calculations and experimental findings appeared. Those were influenced by the properties of the used materials and the surface tension in the molten pool. An important influencing factor for weld surfacing was found to be also the interpass temperature.
