Abstract
Rezultat diplomske naloge je avtomatiziran sistem za upravljanje prisotnosti in odsotnosti. Sistem rešuje problem ročnega beleženja prisotnosti v manjših in srednje velikih podjetjih. Cilj projekta je bil izdelati centraliziran sistem, ki bi odpravil podvajanja in potencialno izgubo podatkov z uvedbo spletne aplikacije, ki omogoča učinkovito razporejanje odsotnosti in beleženje prisotnosti. Sistem je zasnovan s tremi nivoji uporabniških vlog: zaposleni, vodja oddelka in direktor. Zaposleni prek grafičnega vmesnika vnese svoje statuse, kot so prihod, odhod ali odmor in odda zahtevke za odsotnost. Vodja oddelka ima možnost pregledovanja in odobritve teh zahtevkov. Prav tako sistem omogoča priporočila glede odobritve zahtevkov, ki temeljijo na prisotnosti zaposlenih v določenem časovnem obdobju. Direktor ima možnost določanja minimalnih standardov prisotnosti za posamezni oddelek in dostop do poročil o prisotnosti za celotno organizacijo. S tem je bistveno pospešeno in poenostavljeno beleženje prisotnosti, avtomatsko priporočanje pa vodstvu prihrani nekaj časa za razporejanje odsotnosti.

Title:Development and implementation of an automated attendance control system
Abstract:
The outcome of the thesis is an automated system for managing attendance and absence. The system addresses the issue of manual attendance recording in small and medium-sized companies. The project's objective was to develop a centralized system to eliminate redundancy and potential data loss by introducing a web application, enabling efficient scheduling of absences and accurate recording of presence. The system is structured with three levels of user roles: employee, department head, and manager. Employees enter their statuses, such as arrival, departure, or break, and submit absence requests through a graphical interface. The department head has the ability to review and approve these requests. The system also provides recommendations for the approval of requests based on the employees' presence during a specific time period. The director has the option to set minimum attendance standards for each department and access to presence reports for the entire organization. This significantly accelerates and simplifies the recording of attendance, while the automatic recommendation feature saves management time in arranging absences.
