This master's thesis discusses the concept of shared manufacturing and the decision-making problem of autonomous production units, which can in essence be defined as a variation of the secretary problem. The hypothesis that the decision-making process of autonomous production units can be delegated to artificial intelligence is verified by running simulations of a game of shared warehouses, which represents a simplified concept of shared manufacturing in a virtual environment. The results show that artificial intelligence is capable of successfully solving problems in the field of decision theory and game theory.
