Abstract
Za razvoj vrline in zadržanja, mora nekdo večkrat delovati, in za to je potreben čas. Kdor izvaja takšna dejanja, mora o njih preudarjati.

Title:
The concept of héxis in Aristotle’s ethics
Abstract:
Aristotle’s Nicomachean ethics describes virtue as something that can develop over time into a disposition (héxis). The aim of this Master’s thesis is to gain a better understanding of how a disposition can be seen in an action. I examined different elements of an action, in which the display of such a disposition takes place. One must act multiple times for the development of a virtue and disposition, which requires time. Those who act in these kinds of actions need to deliberate. During deliberation one can remember something he perceived in the past. The temporal aspect of an ethical action can show the development of a virtue. I conclude that when a person acts and deliberates, he can remember a perception from a previous action in which he displayed a virtue, and in this action a disposition can be seen.
