Abstract
Namenjena je vzpostavitvi ustreznega sodelovanja pristojnih strok (prostorsko načrtovanje in oblikovanje, arhitektura, urbanizem, krajinska arhitektura, vodarstvo in okoljsko inženirstvo, sanitarno inženirstvo, gradbeništvo) v vseh korakih priprave akta.

Title:Methodology of integrating blue-green infrastructure in the process of preparing the spatial planning act
Abstract:
The master's thesis focuses on developing a methodology for integrating elements of blue-green infrastructure into the spatial planning act preparation process. It establishes appropriate collaboration among relevant professions (spatial planning and design, architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, water management, and environmental engineering, sanitary engineering, and civil engineering) at all stages of plan preparation. Based on a case study project (the design of a water park in the center of Velenje), the thesis simulates the design of a spatial solution at the project level, aiming to define and balance the urban and environmental functions of blue-green infrastructure. The concept is based on integrating all existing qualities into a cohesive composition of the new park layout. The conceptual design of the area in question is directed towards a comprehensive improvement of the current state, utilizing all potentials and incorporating elements of blue-green infrastructure to enhance the living, spatial, and environmental quality of the area. The fundamental idea is the establishment of a comprehensive park as a mosaic of numerous open areas with specific urban and environmental functions. Special emphasis is on managing the water cycle, promoting park programs, and highlighting the potentials of blue-green infrastructure. In this sense, it represents the implementation of the water park concept, as an upgrade to conventional solutions in the design of open public spaces. The task underscores the interdisciplinary collaboration of various professions in all steps of project development, which is crucial for the creation of a successful spatial design.
