Abstract

They often arise during events of significant scale, invokeing fear and uncertainty among people. Thats why they emerged massively during the time of the global pandemic of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. In this bachelor thesis, I employed the method of digital ethnography to identify the most common theories in Slovenia, searched ort he reasons behind their emergence, studied online communities, and examined the consequences of spreading such theories.
