Abstract

In the following master's thesis, the composition In Seven Days by Thomas Adès is analyzed from the point of view of formal and rhythmic-metric structure. We will become acquainted with the compositional processes characteristic of Thomas Adès and their influence on the metrical and rhythmic structure.
