Abstract
V okviru diplomskega dela smo razvili sistem, ki omogoča uporabo promocijskih modelov v virtualnih okoljih. Ta podpira nalaganje modelov preko spletne aplikacije ali preko dodatka (angl. add-on) za odprtokodni program za modeliranje in oblikovanje Blender. Uporaba modelov je možna preko paketa razvitega za pogon Unity. Razvili smo spletno aplikacijo, ki podpira različne nivoje dostopa uporabnikov in omogoča enostavno uporabo in pregled nad sistemom. Za namene testiranja smo v sistem naložili nekaj testnih modelov in oblikovali testno okolje, ki vključuje več kot petdeset promocijskih modelov. Izmerili smo porabo virov in časovni zamik delovanja sistema ter definirali možne izboljšave.

Title:System for placing models of promotional goods in virtual environments
Abstract:
Within the scope of the thesis, we developed a sistem that allows users to include promotional models in virtual environments. It supports model upload through our web application or via add-on for the open-source modeling and design program Blender. Model usage is possible through a package developed for the Unity game engine. A web application supporting various user access levels was developed, providing needed functionality and overview of the system. For testing purposes, several test models were uploaded into the system, and a demonstrative test environment was designed. It uses more than fifty promotional models. We measured resource consumption, system operation latency, and defined possible improvements.
