Abstract
V času izbruha bolezni Covid-19 se je ob zaprtju družbe velik del izobraževanja preselil na Splet. Ena izmed težav pri tem so bili izpiti, kjer je bilo ob takem izvajanju težje nadzorovati študente in preprečevati goljufanje. Nadzor se lahko do neke mere izvrši preko aplikacij za video klepet, ki pa niso prilagojene asimetrični uporabi. V okviru diplome zato predstavljamo prototip spletne aplikacije, ki poveže profesorja in študente ter omogoča namensko komunikacijo med njimi. Študenti lahko komunicirajo zgolj s profesorjem, profesor pa nadzoruje vse študente in komunicira z njimi. Aplikacija temelji na odprtem standardu WebRTC. Predstavljeni prototip smo ovrednotili iz stališča skalabilnosti ter uporabniške izkušnje ter opredelili smernice za morebitne izboljšave.

Title:Remote control of exams using the WebRTC protocol
Abstract:
During Covid-19 lockdowns, much of the education was moved online. Online exams were especially demanding because it was difficult to monitor students and prevent cheating. Video chat applications allow for some monitoring, however they are not designed for asymmetric use. The thesis presents a prototype of an online application that connects the professor to each student and enables dedicated asymmetric communication between them. While students can communicate only with the professor, the professor can monitor and communicate with all students. The application is based on the open-source WebRTC standard. The prototype application was evaluated for scalability and user experience. We also set guidelines for possible improvements.
