The purpose of the thesis was to study in detail the process of cadastral regulation of parcel boundaries according to the current legislation in the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia. Special attention paid to the interpretation of the quality of cadastral data in areas of the so-called graphic measurement, where the data on the course of parcel boundaries are very heterogeneous and of limited quality. We defined the stakeholders and their tasks in the process of the cadastral boundary settlement, the rules for interpreting cadastral data and the decision rules for different scenarios of cadastral settlement of parcel boundaries. Based on case studies, we further examined the specifics of the content of cadastral documentation, which was prepared for the purpose of cadastral boundary settlement by surveying companies from Slovenia and Croatia. Based on the analyses of the legislation and use cases we outlined the particularities of parcel boundary settlement in Slovenia and Croatia.
