Shortage of personnel in manufacturing and market adaptability necessitate the innovative use of technologies. In this master's thesis, by deploying collaborative robot and machine vision, we reduce the requirement for manual operations.
The objective was to devise a mobile system for manipulating subcomponents in a process that previously required the labor of two workers. Implementation of this system, spared a whole worker and managed to catch up with the injection molding machine's cycle with 20 % in reserve. Simultaneously, we have ensured a secure working environment for the employees.
