Abstract
V zadnjih dveh desetletjih je skladiščenje doživelo izjemen razvoj in preobrat v svojem pristopu. Danes so skladišča veliko več kot le prostori za shranjevanje. V proces skladiščenja so bile vpeljane nove storitve, ki pomagajo skladiščem ohraniti konkurenčnost na trgu. Skladiščenje hitro pokvarljivega blaga ni izjema, saj se je prav tako prilagodilo in integriralo nove pristope. Zaradi specifičnih izzivov, ki se pojavljajo pri ravnanju s pokvarljivim blagom, postaja ključnega pomena tesno sodelovanje med ponudniki logistike in pošiljatelji pri razvijanju učinkovitih skladiščnih rešitev. To sodelovanje obsega vse – od postopkov pakiranja in ravnanja do načrtovanja transporta in vzpostavljanja varnostnih protokolov – saj lahko vsaka minuta nepazljivosti privede do nepopravljive škode na blagu. Ključno je upoštevanje ustrezne zakonodaje, načel, sistemov in standardov, ki omogočajo izvajanje skladiščenja hitro pokvarljivega blaga na ustreznem nivoju in brez morebitnih neprijetnih posledic. Predstavljen proces skladiščenja česna, skupaj s predlogi za izboljšave pri ravnanju s tem blagom, ponuja vpogled v to, kako bodo AFL Terminal, d. o. o., in v končni fazi tudi druga podjetja reševala kritične točke v delovnem procesu.

Title:STORAGE OF PERISHABLE GOODS
Abstract:
In the last two decades, storage has undergone an exceptional developmental journey and a paradigm shift in its approach. Today, warehouses are much more than mere storage spaces. New services have been introduced into the storage process to help warehouses maintain competitiveness in the market. Storage of perishable goods is no exception, as it has also adapted and integrated new approaches. Due to specific challenges in handling perishable goods, close collaboration between logistics providers and shippers becomes of crucial importance in developing effective warehouse solutions. This collaboration encompasses everything from packaging and handling procedures to transportation planning and establishing security protocols, as every careless minute can lead to irreparable damage to the goods. It is crucial to consider relevant vi legislation, principles, systems, and standards that enable the storage of perishable goods at an appropriate level without potential unpleasant consequences. The presented process of garlic storage, along with proposals for improvements in handling this specific commodity, offers insight into how AFL Terminal d.o.o., and ultimately other companies, will address critical points in the workflow.
