In our paper we described the procedures and organization of forest work on storm damaged forest and management at Jelovica (2006) and in the area of GG Kranj (1984). We gathered relevant data and information by talking to experts from Forest service and Forest enterprise from Bled, from work organization plans, reports on working process and from field work. We noticed a huge technological and organizational progress in the storm damage management from the year 1984 to the year 2006. We elaborated the directives for storm damage management on the basis of the publications on that subject and of the collected data. These directives can serve as an instrument for forest work organization on storm damage management.
