Usposobljenost strokovnih delavcev v vrtcu z vidika nudenja prve pomoči : diplomsko delo

Abstract
Namen diplomskega dela je bil analizirati mnenja in izkušnje strokovnih delavcev vrtca o prvi pomoči, njenih ukrepih in nudenju te. Zanimalo nas je mnenje strokovnih delavcev, koliko so se pripravljeni odzvati in ukrepati v primeru, ko pride do poškodb. Preverili smo podatke, kolikokrat imajo v letu ali nekaj letih izobraževanje na temo prve pomoči. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 185 naključno izbranih strokovnih delavcev (vzgojiteljev in pomočnikov vzgojitelja predšolskih otrok) iz slovenskih vrtcev. Spletni vprašalnik je bil oblikovan v spletni anketi 1ka. V prvem delu so bila postavljena vprašanja, ki so bila usmerjena na spol, delovno dobo, starostno obdobje (prvo ali drugo starostno) in trenutno izobrazbo v vrtcu (vzgojitelj ali pomočnik vzgojitelja). Drugi del se je navezoval na pridobitev informacij, kot so, kdaj so se strokovni delavci prvič seznanili s prvo pomočjo, katere so najpogostejše nalezljive bolezni otrok v vrtcu, kolikokrat letno ukrepajo s prvo pomočjo pri poškodbah v vrtcu, od kod so pridobili znanje o prvi pomoči, ali se obračajo na sodelavce/priročnik o prvi pomoči, na koliko časa se organizira izobraževanje v vrtcu za prvo pomoč, kako se počutijo pri nudenju prve pomoči, in njihova mnenja, ali bi bilo dobro vsako leto imeti izobraževanje v vrtcu, ter mnenje o tem, ali bi ustanove, kjer se izobražuje vzgojitelje, imele predmet prva pomoč. Ugotovitev v diplomskem delu je pokazala, da se strokovni delavci v večini strinjajo, da bi se izobraževanje o prvi pomoči moralo izvajati vsakoletno na ravni vrtcev. Poleg tega smo ugotovili, da se strinjajo s predlogom, da bi se izvajal predmet prva pomoč v ustanovah, kjer izobražujejo vzgojitelje. Opomba: izraz »strokovni delavci« predstavlja vzgojitelja in pomočnika vzgojitelja predšolskih otrok.

Title:Qualifications of Kindergarten Professionals in Relation to the Provision of First Aid
Abstract:
Training of professional workers in kindergarten from the perspective of providing first aid The purpose of the thesis was to analyze the opinions and experiences of kindergarten professionals regarding first aid, its measures, and the provision of it. We were interested in the professionals' opinions on how prepared they are to react and take action in the event of injuries. We examined data on how often they receive training on first aid in a year or a few years. The study included 185 randomly selected professionals (preschool teachers and teacher assistants) from Slovenian kindergartens. The online questionnaire was designed using the 1ka online survey platform. The first part of the questionnaire included questions about gender, years of work experience, age group (1st or 2nd age group), and current education in the kindergarten (teacher or teacher assistant). The second part focused on obtaining information such as when professionals first became acquainted with first aid, the most common infectious diseases among children in kindergarten, how often they administer first aid for injuries in kindergarten, where they acquired knowledge of first aid, whether they consult colleagues/a first aid manual, how often first aid training is organized in kindergarten, how they feel about providing first aid, and their opinions on whether it would be beneficial to have annual first aid training in kindergarten and whether institutions educating teachers should have a first aid subject. The findings of the thesis revealed that the majority of professionals agree that first aid training should be conducted annually at the kindergarten level. Additionally, we found that they support the idea of introducing a First Aid subject in institutions educating teachers. Note: The term "professionals" encompasses both preschool teachers and teacher assistants for preschool children.
