Abstract

Prispevek skuša povezati prvega od dveh Vlačićevih predgovorov h Clavisu (Ključu Svetega pisma) kot besedilo, ki se mu na splošno priznava utemeljitveni pomen za protestantsko hermenevtiko, z najsodobnejšimi postavkami medkulturne hermenevtike, ne le na teološkem nivoju, ampak tudi na nivoju morebitne medkulturne literarne vede oz. medkulturne interpretacije. Posebej se proučujejo odnosi "jezikovnih pogojev" in "kulturno-zgodovinske določenosti", anticipirane "intencionalne celovitosti" besedila in posamične analize oz. možnosti/nemožnosti doseganja "celovitosti pomena" določenega besedila v pogojih medkulturnega, medsubjektivnega dialoga med interpreti, besedili in disciplinami.

• Keywords: TITLE: This contribution is an attempt to connect the first of Vlačić's two prefaces to Clavis (The Key to the Bible), as a text which is generally recognised to be of fundamental significance to Protestant hermeneutics, with the latest ideas in intercultural hermeneutics, not only on the theological level, but also on the level of a possible intercultural literary discipline or intercultural interpretation. Particular attention is paid to "language conditions" and "cultural-historical determinism", to the anticipated "intentional integrity" of the text and to individual analyses or (im)possibilities of arriving at the "integral meaning" of a particular text in the context of intercultural, inter-subjective dialogue between interpreters, texts and disciplines./KEYWORDS: Protestant hermeneutics, intercultural interpretation, discourse analysis, otherness/foreignness, domesticating
