Izzivi in ​​priložnosti pri razvoju večplatformnih mobilnih aplikacij: študija primera mobilne aplikacije za turno smučanje

Večplatformni razvoj aplikacij je vedno bolj priljubljena izbira med razvijalci. V diplomski nalogi raziskujemo prednosti, težave, edinstvene izzive in priložnosti razvoja večplatformnih mobilnih aplikacij na študiji primera napredne mobilne aplikacije, namenjene turnim smučarjem. Turno smučanje je vedno bolj priljubljen, a hkrati tudi vedno bolj nevaren šport, saj se v gore odpravlja vedno več neizkušenih in neozaveščenih ljudi. Kot rešitev je razvita večplatformna Flutter aplikacija za Android in iOS, ki služi kot orodje za načrtovanje in dokumentiranje turnih smuk, obenem pa omogoča deljenje dokumentiranih tur z ostalimi uporabniki. Pri načrtovanju turnih smuk aplikacija obvešča uporabnika o trenutnih nevarnostih v gorah. Cilj aplikacije je spodbuditi predčasno načrtovanje tur, da bi se na ta način uporabniki informirali o trenutnem stanju v gorah, hkrati pa spodbuditi tudi bolj izkušene smučarje, da poročajo o razmerah na posameznih destinacijah s pomočjo funkcionalnosti dokumentiranja in deljenja smučarskih tur.

• Title: Challenges and opportunities in cross-platform mobile app development: a case study of a ski touring mobile app

Abstract

Cross-platform development is an increasingly popular choice among developers. In this thesis, we explore the strengths, problems, unique challenges and opportunities of developing cross-platform mobile applications with a case study of an advanced ski touring mobile app. Ski touring is an increasingly popular and at the same time increasingly dangerous sport, as more and more inexperienced and uninformed people venture into the mountains. As a solution, we developed a cross-platform Flutter app for Android and iOS, which serves as a tool for planning and documenting ski tours, and at the same time enables users to share the documented tours with other users. When planning ski tours, the application informs the user about the current dangers in the mountains. The goal of the application is to encourage early planning of tours so that in this way users can be informed about the current situation in the mountains. At the same time, the goal is to also encourage more experienced skiers to report on the conditions at individual destinations with the functionality of documenting and sharing tours.
