Abstract
Elektronski nos je ena od uporabnih rešitev za nadzor kakovosti živil, ki jo običajno določajo izkušeni preizkuševalci s pomočjo vonja. V diplomski nalogi smo zasnovali in izdelali prototipni sistem, ki ga sestavljata senzorski modul in Android aplikacija E-nose. Na mikrokrmilnik Arduino Nano so povezani senzor za temperaturo in vlago DHT22 ter plinski senzorji MQ-3, MQ-135, MQ-136, MQ-138, ki omogočajo enostavno spremljanje zorenja sadja in ugotavljanje svežine živil. Za nadzor delovanja, zajem, shranjevanje in prikaz meritev skrbi Android aplikacija E-nose, ki na mobilni napravi komunicira s senzorskim modulom preko 'bluetooth' povezave. Meritve so predstavljene z grafi tako med izvajanjem meritev, kakor tudi po zaključenem poskusu. Omogočen je tudi izvoz podatkov v datoteki .csv. Delovanje elektronskega nosu smo preverili z analizo zorenja marelic in nektarin. V različnih temperaturnih pogojih, kot sta soba in hladilnik, smo jih testirali deset dni. Pridobili smo zanimive rezultate, ki prikazujejo zaznavanje lažje hlapnih spojin, med katerimi je najpomembnejši alkohol.

Title:Electronic nose for food quality monitoring
Abstract:
Electronic nose is one of useful solutions for measuring food quality, which is usually done by trained people using smell. In this thesis we designed and created a prototype system consisting of a sensor module and Android application named E-nose. The Arduino Nano is connected to a sensor for temperature and humidity DHT22 and gas sensors MQ-3, MQ-135, MQ-136 and MQ-138 that allow easy monitoring of fruit ripening and the freshness of food. For capturing, saving and displaying data is used Android application E-nose, that communicates with the sensor module over bluetooth. While capturing data is displayed on a live chart and later on when capture is completed on a static chart. It is also possible to export data in .CSV file. The electronic nose was tested by making experiments on apricots and nectarines that were stored at different temperatures for ten days. We got interesting results for the gasses from which the most concentrated was alcohol.
