The Master's thesis presents a comprehensive research study focused on the utilization of blockchain technology and the concept of smart contracts in the development process. This research centers on implementing decentralized technologies to enforce contract conditions, fostering trust among participants, managing security risks throughout the construction and development process, and crafting smart contracts using the Solidity language with the assistance of the Scaffold-eth tool. Security holds paramount importance as the development process is susceptible to various security risks and potential manipulations. An integral aspect of this research involves identifying and reviewing these risks, and subsequently, formulating strategies for their effective management. The proposed solution is evaluated through a specific case involving a pre-order scenario, addressing issues related to contractual compliance and process traceability. The analysis sheds light on how blockchain technology significantly enhances security and transaction traceability within the business environment.
